Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr will have to look for a new head coach after the club decided to part ways with French coach Rudi Garcia. According to Spanish outlet Marca Garcia has been sacked after he and the players had a confrontation in the dressing room, led by super star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Marca’s message states that Garcia and the squad had a conflict over the results and style of play over the past few weeks. The report also states that Ronaldo was one of Garcia’s biggest critics and led the confrontation between the players and the coach. After the confrontation in the dressing room, the Al-Nassr board decided to intervene and send Garcia out.

Garcia has only been at the helm of Al-Nassr since last summer and managed to win 17 victories in 24 matches. At the moment, the club is in second place in the league of Saudi Arabia and was eliminated against all odds in the Super Cup. Earlier in his career, Garcia enjoyed spells at clubs such as AS Roma, OSC Lille, Olympique Marseille and Olympique Lyon.
