FC Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has snubbed both Kylian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain as the French forward has no intention of leaving Spain.

What is the news?
According to a report by Spanish outlet Sport, Dembele was high on the shortlist of PSG. The right winger has been marked by his good friend Mbappe as a leading candidate to replace Lionel Messi this summer as the Argentinian is leaving the club on a free transfer. Dembele, however, has no intention of leaving Barcelona this summer and therefore snubbing the French giants and his France teammate.
The backstory
After a few difficult seasons at Barcelona, Dembele has finally managed to secure a regular first-team position at the club. The right winger struggled with injuries during his first seasons, including several severe hamstring injuries. Under head coach Xavi, Dembele has turned into a pivotal figure for Barcelona, even wearing the captain’s armband during several matches this season.
What will happen?
It is believed that Barcelona is also ready to continue with Dembele as there have been reports of negotiations for a new contract. It will – however – be interesting to see if Dembele’s fortunes at Barcelona will remain the same once they complete the return of Messi this summer.
