- Man United urged to sign Neymar
- Brazilian set to leave PSG
- Newcastle seriously interested
What is the news?
Neymar is reportedly looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and that news has reached Manchester. His Brazilian teammate and good friend Casemiro has therefore urged his club to make a move for the forward should he actually become available on the summer transfer market. Neymar has been heavily linked with a move away from PSG and recently he was linked to Newcastle United.
Neymar’s future seems to be outside of Paris after this season. The Brazilian has received fierce criticism this season from the club’s own supporters, who at one point even appeared in front of Neymar’s house demanding his departure. Although the attacker is one of PSG’s best performers on the field, supporters are fed up with his injury proneness and star allure since he joined for a world-record 225M transfer fee from FC Barcelona. The fans have therefore made it clear to the club that they want Neymar to be sold.
The question is whether Man United is actually interested in Neymar, as the club is actually looking for a new striker. The Red Devils’ priorities are in other positions and it seems unlikely that the club will comply with Casemiro’s request. Newcastle United, on the other hand, seem seriously interested and after reaching the Champions League, the Magpies would also have a chance to sign Neymar.
