Julian Nagelsmann is set to fly to out to London next week to meet with executives of Chelsea, various reports have claimed. The English giants are looking for a new manager after they decided to part ways with Graham Potter two weeks ago. Whilst Frank Lampard has been appointed as a caretaker for two months, Chelsea are keen on signing on a big name manager for next season.
Nagelsmann himself was sacked by Bayern Munich almost a month ago and the talented German manager has been linked with several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain. It has now been reported that Nagelsmann could favour a move to Chelsea as he gets ready to travel to London to speak with the Blues about a possible job next season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea already held talks with former FC Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique last week and look to be doing the same with Nagelsmann. Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is also linked with a move to Chelsea and the Argentinian could also be invited for a meeting within the next month. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly stated earlier that his club is in no rush in appointing a new manager for next season.
