Paris Saint-Germain are ready to beat any other interested club for Napoli ace Victor Osimhen, reports Football Insider. The Nigerian striker has been one of the leading strikers in Europe this season and the interest in the forward is rapidly growing. Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid are reportedly interested but they will all be blown away by PSG if the French giants submit their massive bid.
Osimhen joined Napoli three summers ago in a 70 million euro record transfer fee from OSC Lille and he has developed into one of the most feared strikers in Europe. The forward has scored 21 goals in the Serie A this season and another five goals in the Champions League. With performances like that it isn’t a surprise that Osimhen is wanted by some of the greatest clubs in football.
While Napoli are not too keen to sell their star forward, the current Serie A leader is aware that a massive bid would be too good to turn down. It is believed that Real Madrid and other interested clubs would be willing to make a bid around 100 million euros this summer, but these will all fall short if PSG decides to push forward their interest in Osimhen.
PSG are planning to sign Osimhen as a direct replacement for Lionel Messi, who is expected to re-join FC Barcelona this summer. The French club is planning to make a bid of 150 million euros, which is a whopping 50 million euros more than the other interested clubs are prepared to pay. The only thing that needs to be seen is if Osimhen is open for a return to the Ligue 1 rather than joining a Premier League or La Liga club.
