Cristiano Ronaldo has been mocked on social media by former Al-Nassr midfielder Adrian Mierzejewski after the Portuguese forward scored a goal against Al-Raed.
What’s the news?
Al-Nassr managed to grab an easy 4-0 win over Al-Raed this weekend and Ronaldo was one of the goalscorers for the home side. After scoring his goal, the former Real Madrid super star went through his standard but iconic goal celebration. His way of celebrating caught the eye of the ex-Poland international, who himself played for Al-Nassr between 2014 and 2016. Mierzejewski questioned the enthusiastic celebrations by Ronaldo after the forward failed to lead Al-Nassr to win a single trophy this season.
What did Mierzejewski say?
On social media Mierzejewski posted a message, alongside a video of Ronaldo celebrating his goal for Al-Nassr: “That moment when you lost the Supercup, you were eliminated in the semi-final of the Copa, you lost the derby to Hilal, which means no championship 99%, but you scored against Al Raed and your team won 4-0.”
Ten moment gdy przegrales Superpuchar, odpadles w polfinale Pucharu Krola, przegrales derby z Hilal co oznacza brak mistrzostwa na 99%, ale strzeliles bramke z Al Raed i twoja druzyna wygrala 4:0 https://t.co/NoCUfSsSRU
