Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is interested to bring yet another one of his former Ajax players at Old Trafford, FootballTransfers have revealed. The Red Devils have interest in signing Mohammed Kudus, who could be leaving the Dutch giants for a reported 45 million transfer fee. Last summer United already made an approach for the Ghana international last summer bit then failed to agree a deal with Ajax.
United then decided to sign Christian Eriksen on a free transfer but that has not ended the club’s interest in Kudus. The midfielder then went on to develop into on of the Eredivisie’s leading players with several impressing performances for Ajax, increasing his overall transfer value. It is believed that Ajax are looking for a transfer fee in the region of 45 to 60 million euros for Kudus.
The Ghanaian international is a versatile player and he can play on the midfield but also up front as a striker or right winger. Ten Hag mainly wants to use Kudus as a No. 10 and he firmly believes he fill wit United’s style of play. Meanwhile, Man Utd remain on the lookout for a centre forward and are also planning to strengthen in several other roles as the summer transfer window looms.
