What is the news?

According to a report by The Athletic, Vinicius is seriously doubting his future with Real Madrid. The Brazilian forward is reportedly very unhappy with the racism he has faced in LaLiga this season and during his career in Spain. Sources close to the player have claimed that Vinicius will not rule out a transfer away from Madrid.

The backstory

The incident involving Vinicius took place on Sunday during the match between Valencia and Real Madrid. The attacker was verbally assaulted by a group of individuals in the stands. During the game Vinicius looked for the confrontation but was left unsupported by the match officials. Later on the Brazilian received a red card following a bust-up between Real and Valencia players.

What next?

After the game Real coach Carlo Ancelotti supported his forward and the Italian stated that there is no chance that his club would be looking to sell Vinicius this summer. This statement was later on supported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who also claimed that the Brazilian wasn’t looking to leave the club. The report by The Athletic, however, could change things rapidly.
